Samenvatting
Luggage and vehicles are the main material of Inga Þórey, who in her works looks for the area between sleep and wakefulness, the obvious and the inaccessible. The exhibition consists of three-dimensional paintings, painted sculptures, sound and light work, which are arranged so that it becomes a kind of traffic center.

Last winter, Inga Þórey examined the beauty in vehicles that have never had a role other than being places in themselves.

Imagination is then thought of as the main source of energy to set these machineless objects in motion, as a tool to get between destinations, to escape with, hide in, and behind or even as a tool.

Apart from creating a vehicle, Inga Þórey has seen the act of covering and revealing as an inevitable act for t... (Lees verder)he exhibition. The greatest hide and seek can be found in the luggage that will be at the exhibition, from which special sections have been selected to reveal and share with others.

The methods used in the creation of the works include compressing, crushing, stretching, releasing, packing, painting and cutting, and the artist uses materials of various kinds, e. g. canvas, sponge, paint, rubber, glass and concrete to name a few.
