In OverHolland 16/17 the emphasis is on the Zaanstreek. Reinout Rutte describes its history. The province of North Holland has commissioned research into the further development of this area. 'Transit Oriented Development' was the guiding principle. Teachers and students from Delft helped with design-related research into the possible transformation of the 'Zaancorridor'. Designs have been made for five station locations that explore the use of 'the cross-section'. And in a contribution on 'EuraLille' the importance of architectural planning in urban restructuring is examined.
