Original half calf with cloth boards, gilt lettered spine, marbled endpapers, tipped-in frontispiece portrait of John Clare, limited edition of 110 copies (this is number 47), signed by Mark Franklin and Walter Partridge (the printer), paper-covered board slipcase, large 8vo. 110 numbered copies: Numbers 1-10: bound in full calf by Winstanley of Salisbury, printed on Millbourn hand-made paper; Numbers 11-60: bound in half calf, printed on Glastonbury antique laid; Numbers 61-110: Hollingsworth's Stag Superfine and have limp Japanese vellum covers.
