In his introduction to Cowboy Dreams, Bob Edgar speaks of a 'far-sighted fraternity' - the photographers such as Belden, Huffman, Koerner, Smith and Kendrick - who recorded images of cattle drives, frontier towns, roundup camps, cowboys on the range, chuckwagons and horses and cattle.
