Samenvatting	The submarine archaeology of Vietnam takes its beginning since the excavation of the ancient ship Hon Cau in the province Ba Ria - Vung Tau, in 1990. So far, in the sea space of Vietnam, have been discovered and explored five ancient ships: Hon Cau, Hon Dam, Cu Lao Cham, Ca Mau and Binh Thuan. The goods recovered from these ships are ceramics coming from Vietnam, China, Thailand, which need to be studied. It is a precious source contributing to the treasure of cultural patrimonies of Vietnam and in the region, and at the same time has a great value in the study of the silk road on sea on the Vietnam sea in last centuries. The authors hope, through this book, contribute to the propaganda of the realizations of the submarine archaeology of Vietnam to readers.
