President Woodrow Wilson's trip to the Paris Peace Conference in January 1919. On the cover, Laboureur, a celebrated illustrator, shows an American ship greeted enthusiastically by the French. Inside are colored woodcuts depicting contemporary American soldiers of various ranks from the different military branches.
